Like so many others have said, I can completely relate to your experiences. I’ve dealt with SA for over half my life. Good luck with your videos; you’re very brave to put yourself out there like that, and I hope it brings you (and others) comfort. Take care.

(And on a totally superficial note, you’re very cute. ;) )

i think all we have some kind of social anxiety or insecurity and the internet is a good way to express our feelings and to share with others and after all we could be aware that we are only humans with the right of learn and improve our lives..
    thanks for sharing!

I have the same look on the face like you do. I have exactly the same look in my eyes. I found a psychologist that helps me. I think it gets better now. You should go to a therapy, too. Or you take Dr. Richards handbook and audios. Do you know them?
I hope you can find help so your life changes a bit. It hurts so much to see people suffering so you have to end this suffering.

“i think all we have some kind of social anxiety”, true but theirs limits for some people, and some happens to EVERYDAY, so theirs a BIG difference.

i know what you mean. i blush too and when i get anxious i always say the dumbest things. It’s like i don’t want to admit that i’m anxious so i try to cover it up.

  13. #13 by KnightQuickness72 on April 16th, 2009

me too. im 14 and go too school so this happens a lot every day and i feel like people sometimes feel sorry for me ;(

  14. #14 by KnightQuickness72 on April 16th, 2009

hey by the way were you diagnosed with it??? i just diagnosed myself with it cos i show all of the symtoms.

  15. #15 by rueisl8423 on April 17th, 2009

no i was not. I’m not sure if i have the disorder, i think i may just have strong SA. But SA/SAD is so terrible because it’s like other people control your life because you always want to impress them so much.

I did that exact same thing in college! One look at the syllabus and if I had to do any presentations I dropped it. I can’t even count how many times. I don’t know how I ever graduated but I guess I know why it took 5 years! I have to say that for those of you in high school and college with SA, I can guarantee that life gets better after school. When your young there’s just too many things that you don’t have control over in life. I still struggle with SA but I’ve gotten better.
