Welcome to YouTube! Well done for making a video and taking about your SA. It’s not easy, so I hope it helps to connect with people on here.

Hey and welcome! I´m battling with the same at the moment and I´m exactly the same as you when it comes to posting vids here. I´m afraid people I know is going to see it. Why are we so afraid of that? Is it a shame to just be honest? I dunno.. I think your awesome for doing what your doing though! Can´t wait to watch more from you

you’re a cool guy, much better than me when i’m anxious (i have sad too). why is it that I always think i look like an idiot when my mind goes blank but everyone else (even people with SA) looks okay? do you think that too? lol

Good intro. I can relate to pushing people away and forgetting everything as soon as I press record. Hope you keep posting.

hah, I definetly think that too. whenever I’m talking and theres a break in my speech… rather than thinking of what I’m talking about and going to say next, I think about how weird i must sound, which in turn makes it harder to talk, resulting in me actually looking like an idiot. it;s kind of funny thinking about it

A one tip write down a list of things you would want to talk about before you start recording. I get the same way i forget what im going to say, but i now write tips down. It helps me remember and things go smoother. A but you did good great video.

Hey thanks for posting this. It’s super helpful seeing that others have similar issues with SA. Hope the videos end up helping you too! You’ve inspired me to start making some

@gennifer27 thanks ! I certainly felt the same way, in that watching other peoples videos have helped me a lot. I’m so glad that I could help you in some way, dealing with SA is a whole lot easier with people supporting you. take it easy!

How the F do we get over this?? Darn and I don’t knoe if it’ll ever really go away for good . Lately I’ve been thinking maybe I have to come to terms with the fact that I may never have the fulfilling or normal life I want.
I guess nothing is impossible and right now I really need a miracle to be cured from this. I just want to feel better and love life.
#21 by havingaSADday on May 6th, 2010
@MegaDreamer88 I hear ya. i find it kind of helps to try and not think to much about the future or the past….the only thing that’s important is the present. plus with SA your mind basically just convinces you whatever happens/happened in the past/future is just failure after failure. have you checked out any books, audiotapes, or videos on getting over SA?

Right as I was watching this video, I had the SAME THOUGHT. ‘What if someone I know sees a video I make about SA?’ But, props to you for putting yourself out there. I’m pretty sure I have SA, and it’s nice to see normal looking people talk about shit I was always too scared to admit to.
