Thanks for the ideas. While probably not the best or the most original idea, I don’t think cinema is such a bad idea for a first date though, so long as you have the opportunity to spend time after the movie as well. The movie can give you something to talk about, or at least a starting place.

Nice tips on the evening classes, I never really thought of things like that. I actually wouldn’t mind speed dating personally, but I’d be terrified to be face to face with someone trying to make conversation.
Thanks again for the video.

I met a girl drunk at a festival and she told me i was the most laid back person she had ever mett. I really enjoyed hearing that because in sober state I’m an anxius peson. the next day after getting drunk, i again managed to project myself as “mr cool”.some time later i met her sober, and she could tell that i was a compleatly different person.

Hey I suffer from SA. I’m 28 and never had a gf. In fact I can barely look in a girl’s direction nevermind ask one it. It’s an impossible task. It honestly seems more likely that I would sprout wings and fly.
That said the whole ‘evening class’ thing DOESN’T WORK. You end up doing something you don’t want to do, meeting people you’re not interested in meeting all on the off-chance that you might meet someone you like and that is reflected by your body language.

A really good tip for conversation I use is remembering the acronym:
H – hobbies
E – entertainment
L – literature
P – politics
and focus on the other person.
All this works for me. This isn’t where my SA lies, though, rather in finding a partner. I seem to judge people too quickly.
