i finished up the 5-part series in this video. i ended the video with an old recording of early morning nature at a nearby park. enjoying peaceful nature is a good combat to anxiety, for me at least

I agree with the relaxation thing. It is very hard but it is vital to survival. being on high alert all the time is not only exhausting mentally, it is damaging physically. Love the nature. I just came back from a kayaking trip and saw 2 orca pods. Woohoo nature.

An SA book I read said that exposures are only good for you if you’re in the situation long enough for your anxiety to go down. If you aren’t in the situation long enough and you’re really anxious the whole time, it just reinforces the fear.

Man, your multi-part videos are always a lot better than mine. I guess because you’re more positive than me. I’ll be looking for your book in the future.
Nice nature footage. You really out-huffed that deer. You’re the man.

Rich,
That was an awesome view a nature. I loved how you were able to zoom in on the deer and give us an up close and personal feeling.
Getting exposure/experience with job interviews sounds like a great way to get comfortable with the situation.
Also, I can’t wait for the book. You will be signing them though, right?

Your very good at finding where it’s all going on with those nature shots. It’s so rubbish inner cities aren’t like that!! Good job staring down that deer btw. He looked petrified.

Oh man what an amazing place…THAT LITTLE RED BIRDY IS INCREDIBLE!! What state are you in? All we have here are kangaroos, kookaburras and gum trees :’( It’s strange your parents treat you the way they do– didn’t you say at one point that they’ve suffered from SA too? Is that right? Maybe I’m thinking of someone else… None the less, I’m sorry to hear how unsupportive they’ve been. Family are pretty much the only ones I feel truly comfortable around, so I can imagine how hard it is for you.
