Therefore for example seeing a person laughing and seeing trough also that he/she is faking it, it is this ‘out of sync’ or ‘inconsistency’ …

Dude, brother I’m with you. I had a total voice and personal apperance phobia. At certain stages of middle school I would change my personality almost every week to see which worked best. Of course I was a loaner, but I’m making great strides now. With a few bumps in the road, but i feel more mature having gone through that

I suffered from anxiety for years. I refused to take drugs. Panic attacks were the norm for me. One docto 6 months ago saw how reluctant I was to take any medication so he put me on a supplement course of 2000IU of Vitamin D, 2 magnesium/calcium/zinc tablets and 2 Omega-3 fish oils per day. These are ALL over the counter supplements.
I has been a miracle for me.

i was like you in high school, till i found out i was quiet popular, and that was when i finished school. You might have felt shy or afraid to walk into class, but you never know what people are thinking or at all. I love crowds now because i have nothing to worry about because i’m always happy with who i am. I really don’t care what other people think anymore. It all comes with age and confidence.

dude i also been diagnosed with the same thing this week. i’m starting a “CBT” – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, they say it’s a proven method to “heal” from social anxiety disorder. i also feel exactly like you about taking pills so i think you should go find a phsychologist that works by this method. good luck!

I know exactly how you feel.
The symptoms you described there, happen to me to.
Since i was a child i’ve been constantly been bothered by this disorder.
At my work,it’s a nightmare standing at the till and serving customers,i constantly think i’m being scrutinized even when i talk to them.
Good Luck man with your recovery

Ugh I have this too! I’m 19 and still going through this. So I went to College and things got really bad. I always sat in the back of the class because I’m scared of causing so much attention on me. Also..it’s hard for me to go places on my own. I had to drop out of college because of this disorder. And I’m taking meds it doesn’t work. =/

Pills, therapy, books about the subconcious mind etc you name it.
In my experience I can truly testify that only The Living GOD has healed me.
Medications from doctors helped me a little and it was temporary.
God’s healing power is ETERNAL!
Now Im not an antidepressant pill dependent.
The cure for fear is FAITH!
Fear limits you.
FAITH ENABLES YOU!
People, THE ALMIGHTY GOD IS YOUR ONLY HOPE.
READ THE WORD OF GOD, HAVE FAITH AND OBEY!
God loves you and He wants you to LET HIM…

i think i have it. i can never go and hangout with friends cause i think there gonna make fun of me of the way i talk or how i look. i’m taking clomipramine but it doesn’t do anything. i can never meet new people either or do anything cause i feel i will be rejected and people will call me weird or a retard or something. i dunno how to get better.

I always think People are Plotting against me, Talking about me. In the Mental Hospital I thought this one Kid wanted to Kill Me. And my Anxiety Gave me anorexia because I thought people were Thinking I’m fat or Gross. I only eat at Home. Or when I’m stoned then I don’t Care. I’m on Homeskool too because I can’t Handle regular Skool. And Yes I’m in Highskool. lol
