Instead of fighting my anxiety, trying to treat it and using whatever other methods that haven’t worked for me in the past, I’m now embracing, accepting and loving my social anxiety. And not only that, I’m also asking for more social anxiety! Yep! I try to get myself in awkward situations that used to dread, I try to sounds dumb, I try to stutter, I try to sound awkward…I try to look mean, bored, uninteresting, I’m looking for ways to provoke my social anxiety whenever I go out now.

I’ve tried the Linden Method and its not the permanent solution. I think the only way is to accept it and put youself out there. Good video.

our problem is not being around people, its being anxious… if we r ok with being anxious we have no problem being around people

i think accepting anxiety helps the solution, i blush alot, and the more u try to cover it up or ignore it, the worse it will get, when u acknowledge it and talk about it it goes away, its when ur expecting to be embarassed or nervous then ur mind gives it to u

Interesting, I’ll give this a shot. So far the only thing that has worked for me is to get more involved in my mind and pay less attention to my surroundings.

Hay Vladimir!
My name is Alex.I am from Belarus;but I have been living in the USA for about 2 years.I realized that when I wiling to do something “embarrassing” for example I started to sing(yell) on the streets even tho I am a terrible singer(I blush sweat nad shake and still yell even more) lol my SAD goes away for a couple days and I feel freaking awesome but after 2-3 days I feel like my SAD mindset comes back.

Pills, therapy, books about the subconcious mind etc you name it.
In my experience I can truly testify that only The Living GOD has healed me.
Medications from doctors helped me a little and it was temporary.
God’s healing power is ETERNAL!
Now Im not an antidepressant pill dependent.
The cure for fear is FAITH!
Fear limits you.
FAITH ENABLES YOU!
People, THE ALMIGHTY GOD IS YOUR ONLY HOPE.
READ THE WORD OF GOD, HAVE FAITH AND OBEY!
God loves you and He wants you to LET HIM…

is it possible that if you just walk down the street and sing out loud and people will smile at you maybe or even chuckle a bit that it might make you feel connected with someone and even liked by someone if they smile at you..so long as you take it as a compliment and not laughing AT you. I think perhaps this connection would produce a feel good type of high that yes might last for a day or two as someone mentioned. Perhaps then it is necessary to do 1 thing per day that forces u 2 b extrovrted

I think everyone has their own cure, and of course the way is to embrace yourself and love yourself for who you are. Thanks.
