I lived in Japan and I never wanted to go out alone. It took me about 2 years before I went out alone not to mention I’m a six foot tall black man and people were curious I guess.
I don’t like to go out unless I’m with a group that I feel comfortable with. I think its ok to have a drink if it helps one loosen up as long as your not making a fool of yourself.
I just keep in mind that you cant please everyone and you gotta be yourself.
