wow i totally relate to this so much with the whole like people talking and just saying awkward things and lol i did that with SVU on Netflix awhile ago isn’t it just great? :) Just thinking of you and hoping things go well for you tonight and that you hear something soon for treatment

I have social anxiety disorder so I have to deal with the social anxiety all the time. I have a lot of phone anxiety too I think. I know what you mean on your profile. I want to be happy and having to go through what I have to is definitely not part of it.

Good luck on overcoming and achieving what you want.

I relate to this so much. I always feel extremely anti social, but then when I’m in a social situation I just want to get out of there. YEAHHH SVU.

I get very frustrated when I am meeting new people and I know that I can completely relate to them and what they are saying but I just don’t know how to get it out because of my anxiety. I miss out on making friendships all the time. It makes me sad. Before my eating disorder and social anxiety I was meeting people and making amazing friendships all the time. Now I’m just hostage to my insecurities. I hate it. :o (

Did you ever go to City Bible Church in Portland Oregon? You look very familiar to me. I dont mean to sound weird. Im just wonering. And I so know what you mean, I invite people to hang out and then either hope they say no and cancel if they say yes. ive had intense social anxiety since I was 11. :[

social anxiety totally sucks. my friend just invited me out for coffee and board games and I’m stalling/trying to get out of it? ugh

I totally understand how it feels.. and your anxiety.. But the good thing that still you are trying, you go out a lot of times, you have friends,, and you always look nice in your videos.. Sometimes i feel same as you or feel like not talking to anyone at all…

Ugh I have the same social anxiety ! I get the hives all over my jaw and neck. I never answer the phone. The list goes on and on. It’s nice to know I’m not the only one !
I’m on celexa for it, but it’s still there.

I know how you feel about going out and being social. While I don’t deal with any eating issues I do struggle with a lot of anxiety, depression and struggle with self- injury (always self-conscious that people are staring at my arms if exposed or wondering why the long sleeves if it’s hot out).
What helps me to go out and be social is planning in advance, if someone calls me up last minute to go out somewhere it’s just not gonna happen.
And Law and Order SVU rocks.

I noe this mite not hep much but wat help me lived a more fulfilling life is this quote by Dr Suess ” Be who you want to be and say what you want to say because those who mind don’t matter and those who matter don’t mind!” Also cut down on the soda and anything with caffeine because it contributes to anxiety. Hope u’re progress will improve =)

Racing thoughts are a sighn of AADD
Anyone who goes out, goes to the gym and goes to internships does not have SA

Real SA can make you stay in for weeks.

I find that people who wear there hair in a Pompadour are often conceded.

Yea you dont seem to have SA… Only because you speak SOOO confidently and sure. You sound like you have racing thoughts, like me… which can SEEM like many different anxieties!

  23. #23 by BlinkinFirefly on February 26th, 2010

i was just thinking EVEN BEFORE YOU MENTIONED THE SHIRT that it was a cute shirt ;) but we are our own biggest critic. i know i over criticize myself waaaaaaaaay too much. and i do the same thing with asking people to hang out “wanna hang out!?” (please dont say yes, please dont say yes…) and *slap* to your cheating ex

  24. #24 by MegaDreamer88 on March 9th, 2010

yu? with SA?? Never would have guessed. by the way, i like the way yu did yur hair up

  25. #25 by mindrise666123 on March 24th, 2010

I can tell you now, you do NOT have social anxiety. You are just insecure.
